You Are Invited to Oceans Day Event in Sacramento
Free Film Screening and Ocean Appreciation Reception
Oceans Day is coming up and staff members from STRP and GotMercury.org will be participating in lobbying California State legislators to advocate for protection of endangered sea turtles from longline fishing along the California coast, and for stronger regulations to warn the public about the risks from mercury-in-seafood.
We are inviting you to join us that evening for a cocktail reception and film screening of Under the Sea 3D, just a few block from the Capitol building. Family and friends are welcome.

Where: Esquire IMAX Theater 1211 K St, Sacramento
The special event will feature:
• A welcome message from VIP guest and world-renowned ocean explorer Jean-Michel Cousteau
• Presentation of awards to honor California’s ocean champions in government and business
• Performance by musician and ocean advocate Lukas Nelson

• A special screening of the popular IMAX film Under the Sea 3D
