Ashley Platz is an upcoming actress making herself known in Los Angeles, California, but her busy schedule always has room for saving sea turtles. Her volunteer contributions have touched the lives of thousands of our supporters, both online and in person.

Ashley created for us our first social network portal, the Sea Turtle Restoration Project Facebook Cause page. This website allows donations to support STRP campaigns, photo and video sharing, and has an audience of over fifteen thousand users and counting! Ashley and her family have been the biggest contributors to our social networking, recruiting more users and more donations than anyone else.

When an event for sea turtles is happening in Southern California, there is a great likelihood you will see Ashley Platz there, radiating her big smile at the front of the crowd. She shares updates, photos, and even contributes to our blog.
