Adopt
a Nest of sea turtle hatchlings in the name of a loved one and they
will receive a gift membership, personalized adoption certificate, sea
turtle fact sheets, newsletter and color photo of sea turtle hatchlings
emerging from their nest. You can also get an optional sea turtle
pendant or sea turtle charm bracelet. The recipient will receive an
email notifying them that your generous gift is on its way.
STRP hosts research expeditions to Cocos Island, Costa Rica, where we collect data to track sea turtle migrations through the waters between Costa Rica and the Galapagos Islands. Each year, we raffle off a seat on one of these once-in-a-lifetime adventures for advanced scuba divers interested in helping us tag sea turtles with satellite and acoustic transmitters. Wild Ocean Society members are important partners in the Sea Turtle
Restoration Project's work to protect sea turtles and the oceans.
Through leadership gifts of $1,000 or more, they receive valuable
benefits that help them connect actively to the oceans and to STRP's

Stocks and mutual funds can be a highly effective gift to help sea turtles. This is an especially good way to help if you hold investments that have increased in value, and if sold, would trigger a considerable capital gains tax.
