New Video Highlights Pacific Leatherback Conservation Successes

The California Academy of Sciences, working collaboratively with the Sea Turtle Restoration Project, has released a video featuring our conservation successes achieving critical habitat for Pacific leatherback sea turtles as part of their Science in Action video series. The Dr. Wallace "J" Nichols, a renowned sea turtle scientist and member of the Board of Directors for Turtle Island Restoration Network, is interviewed and shares his hopeful narrative while images and videos from across the Pacific highlight the threats and conservation successes for Pacific leatherback sea turtles. The Pacific Leatherback Protection video plays for thousands of viewers at the Cal Academy each week.

The video will load and play below, or click here to watch the video on the California Academy of Sciences website and leave a comment in support of increased protections for the critically endangered Pacific leatherback sea turtles.
