The True Cost of Chevron Coalition is mobilizing now for the annual shareholder meeting next week in San Ramon, CA on May 30. Chevron continues to build massive natural gas plants in sea turtle habitat in Northwest Australia. The battle for the Kimberley continues to rage.
In the annual actions to oppose Chevron's human rights and environmental atrocities, a large coalition of people will be assembling to support impacted community members who are traveling from around the world to take their demands for justice directly to the company. Things will kick off with a teach-in on Tuesday night, the night before the shareholder meeting, featuring community and union leaders from Angola,Brazil, Ecuador, Nigeria, Richmond, Texas and more.
