Leatherback on deck for satellite tracking by NOAA scientists.

The Marine Reptile Bill (AB 1776 - Fong) will designate the Pacific leatherback sea turtles as the official marine reptile of California. The legislation is key to raising awareness and support of conservation actions to protect the critically endangered leatherback from decline and extinction. We don't want it to go the way of the grizzly bear in California!
