Ayano joins the Turtle Island Restoration Network team as a watershed biologist for the Salmon Protection and Watershed Network. She strives to protect and restore the natural environment through action, education, and connection.
Ayano studied environmental science and psychology at UC Santa Barbara and for the past couple years, has monitored endangered and threatened salmonid species and other wildlife within the Klamath River and Tomales Bay/Lagunitas Creek Watersheds.
