Colin Lang (August – September 2014)
Colin Lang graduated from Connecticut College with a degree in Biological Sciences, Ecology Concentration. As a student he researched changing vegetation patterns in the college’s arboretum, studied natural resource management and the environmental and social effects of desalination technology in Zanzibar, Tanzania, and was captain of the Ski Team. He previously worked for Hawaii’s Department of Land and Natural Resources as the Oahu Offshore Islands Assistant, characterizing the human use of seabird sanctuaries and restoring native plant life. Colin currently serves as SPAWN’s salmonid habitat restoration intern.
