Emily is a Habitat Restoration and Development Intern at Turtle Island Restoration Network. She graduated from the University of Florida in 2016 with a B.S. in Environmental Science. She focused her education and extracurricular activities on wetland ecology, performing research in the Everglades and in the salt marshes of the southeastern United States. In her free time, she likes to explore different landscapes and cultures, do yoga, and read short stories. Emily is at the beginning of what will hopefully be a long career in environmental nonprofits.
