Cows, Coho and Coyote Brush | March 1

Do you have a green thumb? Do you enjoy working to help the environment? Then join us! We will get our hands dirty planting over a hundred native trees, shrubs and flowers around a sensitive tributary of Lagunitas Creek to restore critical habitat for our salmon runs. We will work on the historic and active cattle ranch leased from the Golden Gate NRA by Lou Zanardi, who will speak to us about his operations and history on the land.
- Where: 700 Platform Bridge Road. There is parking and clear signage.
- When: Saturday March 1st, 10am-2pm.
- Bring: water, lunch, sunscreen, closed toed shoes, and gloves

The Watershed Stewards Program (WSP) is dedicated to improving watershed health by actively engaging in restoration science, civic service, and community education while empowering the next generation of environmental stewards. A program of the California Conservation Corps, WSP is one of the most productive programs for future employment in the environmental field. WSP is administered by California Volunteers, the Office of the Governor and sponsored by AmeriCorps and the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.
