Native Plant Volunteer Day – Friday

October 22, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Help with planting seeds, transplanting seedlings, and caring for native plant species every Friday from 10am to 1pm at SPAWN’s Native Plant Nursery!

Get hands-on experience dividing and propagating plants, learning proper potting techniques, and/or helping with seasonal nursery maintenance. We also do seasonal work to get all the plants ready for SPAWN’s various habitat restoration projects within the Lagunitas Creek Watershed, the most important habitat for recovering critically endangered Coho salmon on the central California coast.

We’ll provide gloves and tools. Please bring a lunch, a water bottle, and a hat, and dress for the sun/rain. Masks are not required if you are fully vaccinated.

RSVP to Audrey Fusco at audrey@seaturtles.org the first time you plan to come to a volunteer event.
