Plant for Pollinators

November 20, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Help SPAWN plant 1,200 plugs of native grasses and perennials to support monarchs and other pollinators! These plants were donated to SPAWN by The Xerces Society to benefit pollinators, particularly monarch butterflies, who often follow riparian corridors as they migrate to their overwintering grounds along the coast.

We will be planting at our Roy’s Riffles restoration site along San Geronimo Creek, one of the most important habitats left for endangered Coho salmon on the central California coast.

The event will run from 10am to 2pm. Volunteers are encouraged to bring water, sun/rain protection, and wear work clothes and close-toed shoes that have good traction. Meet across the street from 485 San Geronimo Valley Drive in San Geronimo. Parking is available through the gate.
