Save Turtles from Nurdles-Sign Workshop | July 24th

Join us in prep for the Honk-A-Thon!
We’re meeting at Naked Iguana Brewery for a sign-making event to help raise awareness of the impacts of plastic pellets (nurdles) in the environment.
- When: Friday July 24th
- Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm CST
- Where: Naked Iguana Brewery, 1828 The Strand, Galveston, TX 77550
- What to bring: We will provide some cardboard and some craft supplies like scissors, glue, markers, paint, but folks are encouraged to bring their own cardboard and craft supplies, AND a friend!
Naked Iguana Brewery has a family friendly area, where we will have the workshop, in an outdoor garage area featuring a 150-inch screen for sports viewing, a children’s corner, and a relaxed outdoor atmosphere.
**On July 25th 10am-11am we will gather at 2107 Seawall in Galveston by the Balinese Room Pier marker for the Honk a Thon with the signs made during the workshop! For the Honk a Thon we will be asking folks to “beep” if they support actions to control plastic pollution.
