Waves of Creativity: Marine Debris Art Workshop | January 29

Galveston Island Nature Tourism and TIRN invite you to take part in Waves of Creativity: Marine Debris Art Workshop on January 29, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at our Galveston Headquarters: The Conservation and Education Center (address and map below).
This interactive, hands-on workshop will introduce participants to the conservation and outreach efforts of both organizations while exploring the environmental impacts of marine debris. After learning more about where this debris comes from and why it matters, attendees will have the opportunity to create their own original works of art using recycled and reclaimed materials collected from the coast. This workshop is designed to inspire creativity, environmental awareness, and thoughtful reuse, all in a fun and welcoming setting!
