DESCRIPTION:To register\, please visit www.seaturtles.org/mdsurvey and click on your preferred event date! \nThe Marine Debris Survey event is a NOAA program adopted by Turtle Island Restoration Network. We have registered a 100 meter plot of beach at East Beach that we will be cleaning and recording the type of trash collected. Think beach cleanup but with more detailed procedures. \n\nSurveys will be the 1st Saturday of every month.\nAnyone and everyone is welcome (there is a distance of walking involved\, minimum of 100ft).\nFor more information\, contact our Gulf of Mexico Program Coordinator brittany@seaturtles.org.
