Celebrate Earth Day at Samuel P. Taylor Park
Join Turtle Island Restoration Network and our sponsor, the Marin Chapter of the CA Native Plant Society for a day of learning and helping this Earth Day, Saturday, April 22, at one of our favorite local parks.
On creek walks we will learn about invasive weeds, look for wildflowers and living creatures, and learn about the Park’s history.
We’ll weed local trails to remove invasive plants we just learned about, and help keep the campground and creek free of trash.
Then we’ll wrap up with a wonderful group picnic.
Stop by anytime. Park rangers will be on hand, along with Turtle Island and CNPS staff.
This event is free, but there is an $8.00 parking fee at Samuel P. Taylor Park.
