Smolt Monitoring Program 2017
Calling all citizen scientists!
For more than a decade, Salmon Protection and Watershed Network (SPAWN) has monitored the out-migration of smolts in Marin County’s San Geronimo Creek Watershed- we could not have done it with out the help of our dedicated volunteers!
April 8th April 15th* volunteer training day will be held at The San Geronimo Community Center.
Free to attend! All interested marine scientists, citizen scientists and salmon-loving community members are welcome to join. The program will begin promptly at 10AM. The training program will last about an hour and a half.
SPAWN strives to engage committed volunteers. We request volunteers be willing to participate in a biologist-led training day and commit to helping out a few days a month during for this year’s smolt monitoring season.
