Seed collection hikes are scheduled for Tuesdays, 2-4pm through June & July 2018.

The internship will involve hiking through West Marin on the Cross-Marin Trail, in Samuel P. Taylor State Park, and other West Marin preserves. We will focus on collecting seeds from wildflowers, grasses, and sedges as well as some shrubs and trees. These seeds will be used to propagate plants for our restoration projects.

Interns will learn how to identify native plants, appropriate methods for seed collection, how to process seeds, and native plant propagation techniques. All experience levels are encouraged to apply.
Hours can count toward community service requirements.

If you are interested, please contact: Audrey@spawnusa.org and Harry@spawnusa.org

We are also looking for help in our native plant nursery. Hours are flexible Tuesday through Friday.
