Membership Assistant – part time
We are seeking a part-time Membership Assistant to work 12-15 hours per week during the hours of 9-5, Monday-Friday. Days are flexible. We are seeking a committed team member who wants to be an active part of the environmental movement. The position offers the chance to learn about the environmental movement, nonprofit administration, and community activism.
The Membership Assistant will help process donations, produce and mail thank you letters to our donors, package and mail merchandise orders, pick up mail at the post office, and help with various other tasks as needed such as filing, de-duplicating records and other administrative tasks.
- Data entry or other similar experience
- Demonstrated skill with computer programs, preferably database programs
- Extremely detail oriented and comfortable doing routine work
- Have excellent spelling and grammar skills
- Able to follow directions and work independently
- Able to maintain concentration in a busy environment with distractions

This is an hourly part-time position that pays $12-$15 per hour.
