On August 22, join Turtle Island Restoration Network for an exciting evening with our board member and New York Times bestselling author Wallace ‘J.’ Nichols, to launch the paperback version of his innovative book, Blue Mind: The Surprising Science That Shows How Being Near, In, On, or Under Water Can Make You Happier, Healthier, More Connected, and Better at What You Do, which explores the cutting edge neuroscience that shows the benefits of being close to water.

J will be joined in conversation with Jaimal Yogis, surfer and author of the best-selling coming of age memoir, Saltwater Buddha and The Fear Project and James Nestor, author of Deep—Freediving, Renegade Science, and What the Ocean Tells Us About Ourselves.
