Support our Allies in Australia to stop the Western Australia shark “catch and kill” program and march from the Ferry Building to the Australian Embassy on 575 Market Street.

Culling is an unscientific and indiscriminate method of managing sharks and protecting public safety. Other regions with high risk of human/white shark encounters- including Bay Area waters- have systems of information, alerts and temporary beach closures. Randomly killing these large sharks is not proper management and can have harmful effects on marine ecosystems and the international shark population.

Join us at the San Francisco Ferry Building at 1 Embarcadero or at Bart and Bus stops along Market Street.  Map

Bring a sign, a handout, wear your shark suit or cardboard cut outs.  Show your love for sharks and voice for proper shark management.

This is a peaceful march so please be respectful and obey all traffic and public safety laws*
