(Editor’s Note: This is the second post in a series of posts about the Photography for a Change, http://www.photographyforachange.com/, show! Check out our first blog here.)

We are so excited that Photography for a Change’s incredible show is launched and showcasing the beauty of our blue planet. As a quick recap for those of you who haven’t already heard, Photography for a Change, provides exquisite photographs of our natural environs.  This show features four photographers who have generously donated their images and prints to support Turtle Island Restoration Network.

Photography for a Change Founder Dana Bove explains, “our primary goal is to have people come and enjoy what they see. However, professional prints from show images will be available at very affordable prices, and ALL profits go to Turtle Island Restoration Network.”

Bove is my friend and a lifelong photographer. He’s the type of person that posts stunning images of say a Utah’s red rock desert on Facebook that makes you really pause and reflect, so you know that when he put together an online show for his site it is going to be something special!

I had the chance to sit down with Bove before the show went live and see how his process of picking prints works. He sits in a dark room in front of two large computer screens and evaluates each image sometimes pulling one up in Photoshop to work some magic or comparing to similar shots and then selecting the best. It’s fun to watch him work, and even more incredible to see each of you enjoying the show online.

The show is only up for the next two months and then it is gone. Many of the photographers are offering prints exclusively for this show, and this show only, so if there is an image you love my advice would be to purchase it now!

I’ve ordered two prints for my office and am looking forward to adding a little ocean magic to my home – I’ll share the room transformation here soon! Turtle Island’s board member Wallace ‘J.’ Nichols is the author of a book called ‘Blue Mind,’ which highlights the benefits of water. From what I understand, life and work gets better when you add a little #bluemind magic to your space!

Join me in bringing the beauty of the sea to your life with stunning photographs! You will feel great each time you view your fine art print because you will know it benefits Turtle Island Restoration Network’s work to save sea turtles, sharks, dolphin, whales and our world’s oceans.

Photos have the option to be purchased in various size formats and printed and shipped on demand. Bove is a perfectionist when it comes to art and has meticulously researched the best ways to frame fine art prints for longevity etc. so you don’t have to!
