Each month, our Hawai’i team leads reef surveys to record any hooked or injured sea turtles, and ensure our reefs stay free of unwanted debris.

With the help of our volunteers, we are able to:

  • Record hooked/entangled or injured sea turtles
  • Document greens and hawksbills using photo-ID
  • Monitor fibropapilloma tumors
  • Observe coral reef threats
  • Report other protected species
