The FDA finds StarKist tuna production of tuna products has “serious violations”, yet StarKist has denied requests of the FDA to inspect records involving the production of tuna products. The FDA has said that if StarKist does not promptly correct the food safety violations, it will take further actions including seizing adulterated tuna products and even enjoining the company from operating.
