Sobeida Degante is from Austin, TX, and is currently a senior undergraduate student at Texas A&M University at Galveston, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology with a minor in Diving Technology & Methods. Her dream is to work in marine mammals rescue, rehabilitation, and husbandry. She also has a passion for marine conservation, education, and outreach. She loves gaining valuable skills and hands-on experience by volunteering and getting involved with numerous organizations around Texas.
