Todd Steiner is an ecologist and the founder and executive director of Turtle Island Restoration Network, an ocean advocacy and research NGO with offices in California, He has more than 40 years’ experience in environmental protection and education. He has served or currently serves on the IUCN Marine Turtle Specialist Group, MigraMar (founding Board member), the Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuary Advisory Counsel, NOAA-DFG Priority Action Coho Team: Technical Working Group, Lagunitas Creek Technical Advisory Committee, Coho Salmon Land Trust (founding Board member), on the Center for Biological Diversity Board of Directors, Tomales Bay Watershed Council, and Tomales Bay Association. He holds an MS in Biology and lives in Forest Knolls, CA.
