Global Climate Strike

On September 20, three days before the UN Climate Summit in NYC, young people are leading a Climate Strike for transformative action on the climate crisis – the biggest threat to our future.

To launch the week of action, Turtle Island Restoration Network will be marching in solidarity with the Bay Area youth climate strike coalition on Friday, September 20.  We’ll meet at Speaker Pelosi’s office at 10AM and march to different targets contributing to climate breakdown. The march is expected to last until 3pm, but we invite our members to join us for as little or as long as they like.

We need youth and adults, grassroots orgs, climate-focused and social justice groups, and other activists to come together as a unified front to demand the change we need to save our oceans, watersheds and, ultimately, our future.
