Help SPAWN maintain our floodplain restoration sites in the Lagunitas creek watershed. This watershed is one of the most important habitats left for critically endangered central coast Coho salmon.

The focus of our habitat restoration events is planting natives and removing invasive plants at our two largest restoration sites, which are located in San Geronimo and Tocaloma. February habitat restoration events will be held at our will be held at our Roy’s Riffles site; for these events we will meet across the street from 485 San Geronimo Valley Drive in San Geronimo. Parking is available through the gate. On February 24th we will add a plant a new pollinator habitat garden near the entrance to the project site.

Habitat Restoration volunteer events run from 10 AM to 2 PM. Volunteers are encouraged to bring water and a snack or lunch, sun/rain protection, and wear work clothes and close-toed shoes that have good traction. We provide gloves and tools.
