Donor Privacy Policy

Turtle Island Restoration Network is a 501c3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible. You can download our latest financial report by clicking here or by calling us at 800-859-7283.

Our fundraising policies are conducted in compliance with nationally established guidelines.

We collect personal information including physical address and email address from donors or from those who purchase items from our store. The identities of all our donors are kept confidential unless such disclosure is required by law.

All of our credit card transactions are processed through a secure SSL encryption system. None of the credit card information provided through online donations and purchases is kept at our physical location.

Occasionally we share names and physical addresses with like-minded organizations. We respect our donors’ privacy and will honor all requests not to share their personal information.

Email Newsletter

Turtle Island Restoration Network collects email addresses and other contact information from people who sign up for our electronic newsletter. Turtle Island Restoration Network does not sell, rent or otherwise share email addresses. At any point, an individual can unsubscribe for our emails, changes their email delivery preferences, or have their data removed from our digital records.

Action Center

Turtle Island Restoration Network facilitates environmental advocacy through the hosting petitions and action alerts so that individuals can contact political and corporate decision makers and help inform public policy. Through our action alerts and petitions, we collects email addresses and other contact information from people who choose to take the actions. If cookies are enabled on a visitor’s computer, then our site will use cookies to identify previous users of our advocacy service to enhance their experience.
