The International Sea Turtle Society (ISTS) is an organization of people from around the world who are linked by their interest in sea turtle biology and their dedication to sea turtle conservation. Each year the ISTS convenes a Symposium on the Biology and Conservation of Sea Turtles, a great opportunity to meet colleagues, learn about the latest research, and discuss ways to solve common problems.
The Sea Turtle Restoration Project lead three speaking seminars, presented eight research and education poster displays, hosted informational tabling, participated in many other science and outreach activities this year at the 31st annual ISTS meeting in San Diego, April 12-15, 2011.
