Turtle Island Restoration Network members and supporters from allied groups including Greenpeace, Center for Biological Diversity and Surfrider came out to our rally for the oceans at the Obama Ocean Task Force Policy meeting in San Francisco on September 17, 2009. Dressed as sea turtles, dolphins, salmon, orange roughy, jellyfish, we chanted for healthy oceans and got the attention of the media, people passing by and even Michael Moore who happened to be staging a promo for his new movie at the same time.
