Habitat Restoration Event | May 31

Get outside, learn new skills, and meet new people by volunteering with The Salmon Protection and Watershed Network (SPAWN). Help SPAWN maintain our restoration sites in the Lagunitas Creek watershed. This watershed is one of the most important habitats left for critically endangered Central California Coast (CCC) Coho salmon.

The focus of this event will be to prepare a weedy section of the park for native planting in the fall. This event will be held at Roy’s Riffles in partnership with the Water Stewards Program (WSP). Parking is available at 5800 Sir Francis Drake Blvd, San Geronimo, CA 94963.

Volunteers are encouraged to bring water, sun/rain protection, and wear work clothes and close-toed shoes that have good traction. SPAWN will provide gloves and tools.
