Habitat Restoration Event

September 23, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

Help SPAWN maintain our floodplain restoration sites in the Lagunitas creek watershed. This watershed is one of the most important habitats left for critically endangered central coast Coho salmon.

The focus of our habitat restoration events is planting natives and removing invasive plants at our two largest restoration sites, which are located in San Geronimo and Tocaloma. In September we will work at the Tocaloma site and will meet at 9255 Sir Francis Drake Blvd.

Habitat Restoration volunteer events run from 10 AM to 2 PM. Volunteers are encouraged to bring water and a snack or lunch, sun/rain protection, and wear work clothes and close-toed shoes that have good traction. We provide gloves and tools.

To RSVP please contact Ayano at ahayes@tirn.net.
