Texas Statewide Nurdle Hunt | November 7

Join us for the Statewide Nurdle Hunt — November 7th at Murdoch’s, 2215 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX 77550, 9:30–11:30 AM!

We’re teaming up with groups across Texas to take part in this collective effort to track plastic pollution along our coastlines. Murdoch’s is one of our most nurdley locations, the perfect place to join the hunt. Nurdles are tiny plastic pellets, a single nurdle is about the size of a lentil. Nurdles are the building blocks for everyday plastic items like plastic bags and bottles and are a major source of microplastic pollution. Nurdle spills can happen during production and transport. They wash into our bays and beaches, where they harm marine wildlife and pollute our waters. Come be part of the solution by joining our local Nurdle Patrol and contributing valuable data to this statewide effort!
