Trash Free Gulf: Texas Watersheds Cleanup | May 27

Join Turtle Island Restoration Network and Surfrider Galveston in Galveston on Tue, May 27, 2025 from 9:00AM-11:00PM CT for a clean-up event!

Hosted across the state in May 2025, this campaign brings people together to clean up our watersheds and raise awareness for the health of streams, rivers, lakes, bays, and oceans. Taking place at Murdoch’s Pier – 2215 Seawall Blvd, Galveston, TX, this event invites volunteers to help make our island more beautiful while meeting others with the same goal. Participants will pick up trash along the beach and contribute to data collection logs that track the types of items collected. The atmosphere is casual and fun, making it a rewarding way to care for the environment and connect with the community.
