The mercury calculator on GotMercury.org’s website was highlighted in the March 2010 edition of national magazine Good Housekeeping as one of four ways to keep yourself healthier.

The article states:  “Go to Gotmercury.org- The site, a project of the Turtle Island Restoration Network, has a calculator to help you figure out whether you’re getting too much mercury (a major source:  tuna fish).”

About GotMercury.org: The Gotmercury.org works to protect people and the environment from mercury. Because of the ubiquitous nature of mercury in the environment and because federal and state public health agencies are not doing enough to raise public awareness and protect the public from mercury, GotMercury.org developed the free online mercury-in-fish calculators that have received millions of hits since 2002.
